I have completely overhauled the website today and plan to start maintaining it regularly. I have received so many great emails from readers that I really I kick myself for not doing this sooner. But this summer's tour and other publicity took more time and attention than I thought.

I'm thinking I may add selections from the mail I've received. If you dropped me a line and have any objections, let me know at Bossanova12atgmail. But most of you indicated you would have posted to the site if that option had been easier.

I just finished Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell. A wonderfully imaginative novel that jumps back and forth between different times, different vernaculars. The last line is so good I'm thinking of finally getting a tattoo:

"Yet what is any ocean but a multitude of drops?"

LOVE that.

To which, I offer this ever so brief yet resonant line, one of my very favorites, a line I find haunting and which I feel says so much about us seekers and questers and creatives, especially those of us with a wanderlust for the deep, this from the austere playwright Samuel Beckett:

"There is no rest for the sea."
